Cloud Cap Energy Storage hosted a Neighborhood Meeting on Thursday June 25, 2026 at the Festival Foothills Elementary School in the Community Learning Center, located at 26252 W Desert Vista Blvd, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The meeting was meant to inform the community about the project and its request for Rezone and Conditional Use Permits. The rezone request is to update the current obsolete zone of Planned Community to Single-Family Residential. The Conditional Use Permit, if granted, permits a battery facility on this parcel, given the zoning. Cloud Cap Storage will be located on APN 503-84-040D, which is north of SunValley Parkway, directly south of APS's SunValley Substation, and west of 291st Avenue.
